Compost Has Many Uses

We use compost or a top soil blend for many applications. When planting we mix the existing soil with compost to promote growth and root stimulation. We use compost in flower beds to create a stunning look and feed plants. It also helps to snuff out and keep weeds at bay.  Skip the bark and use compost for your garden beds. It stays put, feeds the lawn, and looks great.

Composting and pH levels

Using compost as a soil amendment is a long term solution to pH problems within the soil. Acidic soil lacks vital nutrients to feed most plants. Alkaline soil increases susceptibility of diseases and weeds. Compost acts as a balancing agent for soil pH. It's a sustainable way to improve soil health and bring it to a neutral range where most plants will flourish.
